As a Senior Builder / Design-Build Project Executive at Identity Architects, you are a seasoned builder who wants more than managing someone else’s process. You’ll lead projects from concept through completion, influence design decisions, hire subcontractors, control budgets, and drive the full construction operation for each project. If you’ve spent years in a corporate GC environment and want more authority, faster decisions, and direct collaboration with ownership, this role offers the opportunity to operate with real autonomy.

This role requires a builder who can lead projects independently and make sound decisions in the field and in the office.

• 20+ years of commercial construction experience
• Proven experience delivering ground-up commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, subcontractor procurement, and cost control
• Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills
• A practical, solutions-focused mindset

You will function as the senior builder responsible for project delivery, operating much like a project CEO.

• Managing ground-up commercial construction projects
• Selecting and hiring subcontractors
• Negotiating contracts and pricing
• Developing and managing project schedules
• Managing construction budgets and profitability
• Leading weekly subcontractor coordination meetings
• Managing superintendents and field teams
• Coordinating closely with architects and ownership
• Ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, on budget, and built correctly
• Oversee projects from early pricing and subcontractor procurement through construction and completion
• Collaborate directly with architects and ownership to align design intent with execution
• Provide preconstruction input to influence project outcomes before construction begins
• Manage subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and quality to ensure successful delivery
• Operate effectively in a streamlined environment with minimal bureaucracy and efficient decision-making
• Contribute to the development and growth of the design-build construction division
