Designer (Entry Level)

Job Description:

As an Entry Level Designer at Identity Architects, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that shape the built environment. We are looking for a passionate and creative individual with a strong work ethic who is eager to contribute to our team and grow their design skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Conceptualization: Collaborate with our experienced design team to develop creative and innovative design concepts for commercial and healthcare projects, with a particular emphasis on interior physician and clinical spaces and mixed-use retail developments.

  2. Urban Design and Site Planning: Contribute to the development of urban design strategies and site planning that promote a sense of place, enhance community engagement, and create sustainable environments.

  3. Software Proficiency: Utilize design software tools such as Revit, SketchUp, and Lumion to create 3D models, renderings, and presentations that effectively communicate design ideas to clients and team members.

  4. Research and Documentation: Assist in research and documentation tasks related to project specifications, codes, and regulations, ensuring that designs comply with industry standards and best practices.

  5. Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, and other design professionals, to ensure seamless coordination and integration of design concepts.

  6. Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings and presentations, actively listening to their needs and providing design solutions that exceed their expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creative thinking.

  • Proficiency in design software such as Revit, SketchUp, and Lumion (bonus points).

  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Architectural Project Manager (Mid-Level)

We are seeking an energetic individual who thrives in an open office culture and possesses a strong work ethic to join our team. We offer competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. 

DAY TO DAY:

Manage all aspects of a team and project from start to finish with little supervision

Fully comprehend construction documents

Serve as a client liaison to bring schedule, budget, and scope of work to client satisfaction

Completes design and production of original construction details

Drafts and supervises working drawings for projects

Checks print phase for progress, errors, and omissions

Coordination and review of engineering consultant drawings

Shop drawing review and coordination

Process change order requests as required

Coordinates and assists the owner with setting up and performing the punch list inspection, close-out documents and obtaining all final approvals and Certificate of Compliance or Occupancy as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

8 years of architectural experience

Bachelor degree in Architecture from accredited University

Working knowledge of all phases of construction and administration of projects

Strong communication and organizational skills, and ability to multi-task

Job Captain

Identity Architects is a mid-size architecture firm specializing in commercial, medical, retail and hospitality.

We are seeking an energetic individual who thrives in an open office culture and possesses a strong work ethic to join our team. We offer competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. 

DAY TO DAY:

Participate / coordinate during all phases of project delivery

Manage construction document phase of design and planning as directed by the Project Manager

Prepare and issue bid documents as directed by the Project Manager

Knowledge of current codes

Verify site-specific requirements and understand project criteria, design intent, scope of work and client expectations

Determine and oversee the development of additional detailing as required, conveying the intent of contract documents

Complete site, foundation and floor plans, elevations, sections, and schedules

Check print phase review for progress, errors, and omissions

Coordinate and review architectural, landscape, and engineering drawings

QUALIFICATIONS:

At least 3 years of architecture experience

Bachelor degree in Architecture from accredited University

Strong communication and organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
